Torino vs Bologna predictions-Torino crashed out of the Coppa Italia in midweek, removing their best chance of making it in to Europe next season. Il Toro had started the campaign with the hope of qualifying for the Europa League, but they find themselves in 10th place at the half-way point in the campaign. Now they’re gearing up for a clash at home to a Bologna side who are performing above all expectations this season, and they will be hoping to get a result and jump in to the top half of the Serie A table this weekend.
There’s just a point between these two going in to this weekend’s meeting, thanks to the fantastic performances Bologna have been putting in this time. Meanwhile, Torino have been underperforming, and that’s left them five points shy of the top six, with plenty of more consistent contenders in between them and the European spots. The loss of Andrea Belotti is only making things worse, after they were held to a 0-0 draw with a struggling Genoa side last weekend.
Torino vs Bologna predictions
Fresh from that disappointment Torino were dumped out of the Coppa Italia by Juventus, and that leaves them vulnerable to another poor result here. The scale of that test is bound to take it out of their limited squad, and getting back in to the groove for a weekend league game is difficult. To make matters worse, their recent form has been nowhere near good enough, while Bologna have been pulling off some impressive results of late.
Torino come in to this game having won just one of their last eight league games. They have an awful record in front of their own fans, managing just two home victories all season. Having claimed just 1.22 points per game at their own ground this season, the home side will be worried about their prospects in this one. Having won once at home since the start of September, Il Toro could be about to slip up once again.
Bologna have won five of their nine away trips, a record which has given them the sixth best away record in the division. They’ve pulled off wins at Chievo and Hellas Verona of late, while they’ve troubled the likes of AC Milan and Roma. With Il Toro looking short up front, and likely without their key forward, we think there’s great value to be found by backing Bologna on the double chance market, with the Rossoblu doing more than enough to justify backing them against the out-of-sorts hosts.
