Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth predictions- Things aren’t looking quite so bleak for Crystal Palace after Roy Hodgson has got to grips with his squad. Admittedly, things could still be better, but after losing their opening seven Premier League games they are looking in a much better place at the moment.
Last weekend they played out a drab goalless draw away to West Brom, following on from an identical scoreline at Brighton the Tuesday before. This makes it four league games without defeat for The Eagles, lifting them to 18th in the table with just three points between them and the safety of 17th.
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth predictions
Obviously victories are still hard to come by for the hosts, but they tend to do a lot better at Selhurst Park. There, they have won twice this season and have scored at least two goals in each of their last four. This includes 2-2 draws with West Ham and Everton, giving them a total of eight points from their last four home games.
Bournemouth aren’t having the best season either, despite a lot of promising acquisitions over the summer and an excellent performance last year. Last weekend they drew at home to south coast rivals Southampton to make it three games without a win in the Premier League, all of which were against very beatable sides.
This has pushed The Cherries down to 14th in the Premier League table, and with just five points between them and Crystal Palace, a defeat on Saturday could take them dangerously close to the bottom three at a crucial stage of the season.
Away from home they haven’t been bad this season, but Crystal Palace have been improving lately and their home performances in the last couple of months have been great at times. They have more than enough quality in the squad to avoid relegation, and Roy Hodgson will be drilling that into his players as they look to regain their winning spirit.
Considering their excellent scoring record at home, backing a Crystal Palace win looks the best option here. Each of their last four at home have seen three or more goals too, so we’re also going for a Crystal Palace win and Over 2.5 Goals alongside a 2-1 correct score predictions.
Wilfried Zaha has been the one shining light for The Eagles this season. He has scored three league goals since his return from injury and has looked the one player capable of winning games, so we’re opting for him in our anytime goalscorer predictions.
